For those of you who may frequent our site going forward, you'll see an occasional newsletter, blog, or story on this "ABLE News" page. All content will be created and posted by me, Joe Spreitzer. If you're one of the maybe 2 people who were kind enough to read my newsletters in the past before they made their way to the recycling bin (thanks Mom and Dad), you understand that my posts are typically lighthearted attempts to inform and/or entertain. I'm not always funny or clever, but every now and then you'll come across a post that is actually relevant and somewhat amusing.
A typical newsletter will recap activities from the prior month(s), discuss upcoming events, and notify you of any important updates or changes. I can't predict the frequency of posts. I'm not a full-time blogger. When I'm not teaching at my high school, or taking adults out for community inclusion, I'm trying my best to update this site and keep everyone informed. Although this is technically the first post on the ABLE News page, my actual first post for the intents and purposes stated above will be in May. This page- and site- will be a bit different from those of other programs. Our community inclusion program will follow suit, with one of our main focusses being to provide a unique and enjoyable experience for special needs adults and their families.
