Meet The ABLE Team
Claire formerly worked as a paraprofessional and emotional/behavior support specialist in private and public schools, and has extensive ABA training. She joined us in March 2020.
Rebecca began her career as an elementary school special education teacher. She is trained in ABA, and holds a Master of Arts in teaching special education. She joined the ABLE team in 2020.
Sandy's been with ABLE since 2013, and worked in a school for special needs children and adults before that.
Ali had been assisting in classrooms for special needs children since 2012. She stared with ABLE in 2021. She has a background in ABA instruction and crisis prevention.
Rachael has been in (and out of) the field of adult services since 2011. She has been a friend of many of our ABLE members for most of her life.
Wayne came to us from The Arc. He's been a driver and individual support specialist at ABLE since 2020.
Joe has been working in this field for over 15 years, and founded this ABLE program in 2017. His previous roles were individual support specialist, program supervisor, teacher of students with disabilities, and director of ABLE.
Kathy has been driving clients and helping out with ABLE since it started in 2017. She also works as an individual support specialist.
Lauren has been with our program since day-1, first as a volunteer, then part-timer, and now director. She left the field of teaching to join us full-time in Sep 2022.
Shaliqua joined the ABLE team in August 2022. She previously worked in day habilitation and group home settings. Her experience makes her an exciting addition as support staff at the Westfield location
Vallery came to ABLE at the end of August 2022, and has tons of experience in the field. He joined the team as a part-time driver and support staff member for our afternoon program.
